Extending the life of your favorite Tweezerman products is now easier than ever with our free sharpening program. We sincerely believe in your investment in high quality beauty tools and aim to ensure we provide the best services to reduce your waste consumption and spend with our products. We love seeing the industry’s movement to a more eco-friendly future, and as a brand, we believe we have the responsibility to provide you with choices that lead to a more sustainable beauty routine.

In order to provide the best service to help create a more sustainable future, our sharpening program is FREE of charge. All you have to do is pay for the initial shipping cost to our facility in Port Washington, NY. Our program allows us to sharpen authentic Tweezerman Full Size Slant, Point, and Mini Tweezers, Nippers and Scissors that have become dull through proper and regular use.

Our current estimated turn-around time for each sharpening service order is a MINIMUM of:

  • 12-16 business weeks for US orders
  • 16-18 business weeks for international orders

This timing begins as soon as your sharpening request is received into our warehouse and timing may change at any time.

Before you ship your sharpening request to us, please follow these easy steps:

  1. Review Our Sharpening Policy prior to completing the form. 
  2. Complete the form below—including an image of your requested tools is always helpful! Print out when complete.
  3. Clean your beauty tool carefully with Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol and a cloth. This helps keep yourself and our staff safe!
  4. Place your beauty tool in a PADDED envelope.
  5. Include the bottom half of the form below on the outside of your package.
  6. Add postage and insurance through your shipping carrier of choice.
  7. Include the top half of your form inside the padded envelope.

*Please note: We can only accept up to six (6) beauty tools at a time. Orders sent with more than six (6) products will be returned to the sender unsharpened.

ALERT: USPS is our primary shipping carrier for our sharpening services. Due to their suspended service in several countries, we cannot accept requests from these locations. Please review the full list of suspended services here before completing the free sharpening form.

Our sharpening service does not apply to products that are metallic finish or coated (including our Rose Gold Collection and Ultra Precision Collection), products that have been misused or modified, products that have been repaired, products that are not Tweezerman brand or products purchased from an unauthorized seller. Tweezerman reserves the right to reject sharpening service requests if it determines, in its sole discretion, that a beauty tool to be sharpened is counterfeit or in cases of fraud or abuse of the service. 



Do you charge for sharpening?

No, our sharpening service is free of charge, aside from the initial shipping to our facility. We will happily sharpen Tweezerman Full Size Slant and Mini Tweezers, Nippers and Scissors that have become dull through normal use for FREE as long as the implement can be re-sharpened. There are no processing fees and no Shipping & Handling fees on return.

Our Sharpening Policy does not apply to products that have been misused or modified, non-Tweezerman products, products that have been repaired by anyone other than our Tweezerman Service Center, products purchased from an unauthorized seller or products that do not apply for sharpening (Rose Gold and Ultra Precision). Tweezerman reserves the right to reject Sharpening requests if it determines, in its sole discretion, that an implement to be sharpened is counterfeit, or in cases of fraud or abuse of the Sharpening Policy.

What if my tweezers, nippers or scissors cannot be sharpened?

If your Tweezers, Nippers or Scissors become damaged and cannot be sharpened, we will send you a coupon to purchase a new implement at half its current suggested price (at our option), redeemable only on www.tweezerman.com.

May I have my old implement back if you choose to send me a coupon?

Yes, if we are unable to sharpen your implement, we can either send you back the implement or we can keep the implement and send you a coupon to purchase a replacement at 50% off the retail price on Tweezerman.com. Both options are available for you to choose on the Free Sharpening Form. Note that if your product does not qualify for free sharpening, we will send you back your implement, unsharpened.

Can any Tweezerman implement be sent in for sharpening?

No. No. Only Tweezerman Tweezers, Nippers and Scissors can be re-sharpened and only by our sharpening service center. If a Nipper spring breaks, we will replace them at no charge. We do not service our Eyelash Curlers or other items that are not listed above. Our Ultra Precision, Rose Gold Series as well as any tools with metallic finishes on the tweezer tips cannot be sharpened due to the unique coating on these tools. The product needs to have stainless steel tips.

What cleaning is required for sending implements for sharpening?

Implements must be cleaned before sending to us. Implements that have not been cleaned will not be sharpened or replaced. To clean your stainless-steel implement, please be sure to wipe tool tips/ends/blades thoroughly and carefully with isopropyl rubbing alcohol and a cloth or tissue. You can also visit the product's detail page for additional information.

How to package & send my implements for sharpening?

After completing the Sharpening Form on this page and receiving your email confirmation from Tweezerman, please print a copy of the sent form and include it with your implements in an insured padded mailer. Our address can be found on the sharpening form. Packages with insufficient postage will be returned to the sender.

To ensure a seamless sharpening experience, please tell us a little more about the product you're sending. Below, please indicate the type of item, as well as quantity, and share a photo.


You only need one photo for all items that are the same type (i.e. all tweezers should be photographed together, all nippers in a separate photo, etc.). This will speed up the process and ensure all tools are returned to you.
