"Turned into an average pair of clippers after about a year of use. Yes I clean them with alcohol after each use. People that pretend these will last a lifetime are full of it."
"I really like how these nail clippers do their clipping - with a very satisfying click and the feeling that they could cut through any nail. I got them as a gift in December and have had no complaints until today when I twirled the top part around from its non-clipping state to be able to clip and the whole thing to fell apart. I’ve never had this happen with even the cheapest clippers I’ve owned. What a disappointment to have $8 clippers just fall apart. I was able to get the pieces back together but it fell apart again when I ‘closed’ the clippers. So great for cutting but poor construction."

"We've had both the toenail and fingernail clippers for over 10 years and the fingernail model has never cut for either of us. Why I left it in the drawer as long as I have, I don't know. I try them every now and then without success. It's finally going in recycling. There is something off with the leverage on the fingernail clipper. For some reason it cannot cut through the nail like the toenail clipper does. We either use our older fingernail clipper from another brand or just use the toenail clipper on our fingernails. The latter works better for my husband's fingernails, but not as well on my small nails. I don't understand why the fingernail clipper is so dysfunctional, but we're very happy with the toenail clipper. I did give it two stars for the grade of stainless used."
