- Soften thick toenails by soaking your feet for 10 minutes in warm water.
- Lift up and rotate lever of clippers.
- Clip nails into the desired shape by starting at the corners and clipping toward the center. Clip in small increments to reduce splitting.
- Next, clip the center to finish the shape. This will apply less stress on the natural nail and help prevent the chance of splitting while clipping.
- Using the flat side of the pushy, gently push back cuticle to create an even shape and loosen cuticle for excess trimming. Clean under and around the nail using the narrow edged tip. Use the built-in ridges to gently file under toenails to prevent ingrown nails.
- Finish by gently smoothing the nail edges with a nail file.
