About Jacob
Currently based in New York, Jacob brings a high-fashion sensibility to everything he does—whether on set, preparing for the Met Gala, or styling private clients. After spending four years assisting celebrity hairstyling Harry Josh, he recently branched off on his own. His clients include Irina Shayk, Karlie Kloss, and Candice Swanepoel. Jacob’s work includes covers for Vogue Greece (shot by Rowan Papier) and Vogue Russia (shot by Paola Kudacki), editorials with Greg Swales and Sebastian Kim, and campaigns for Adidas, Oscar de la Renta, and Tropic of C. He also works with Guido Palau’s Fashion Week team.
Jacob specializes in both long and short hair for editorials, advertising, and red carpet events. He takes private appointments at Hawthorne two days a week, and can also be booked for weddings and other big events. Mellow, flexible, and collaborative, Jacob’s favorite part of the creative process is bringing a client’s vision to life. “Hair is its own shared language,” he says. “It’s an expression. It’s love, style, and soul.”
