Second Bottom Line

We are a company with a heart.

"To lead with our minds, our hearts and our actions in order to make the community and world around us a better place."

Since its inception almost 30 years ago, Tweezerman has maintained two bottom lines: one to measure profitability and another to share profits with those in need.  Our Second Bottom Line is the embodiment of our commitment to Social Responsibility. Since 1980, Tweezerman has supported hundreds of humanitarian, environmental, community and charitable organizations with a special focus on programs that support and empower women.  Our employees initiate and participate in numerous charitable programs and activities throughout the year.

In 1999, Tweezerman initiated our Breast Cancer Awareness project (BCA) as an integral part of our Second Bottom Line.  To commemorate our commitment to the fight against Breast Cancer, TMI features the iconic BCA Pink Ribbon logo on our best-selling Slant® Tweezer (during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October), and donates a percentage of the net sales to organizations devoted to cancer care and finding a cure.  Since 1997, Tweezerman employees have raised additional funds by participating in the American Cancer Society's Annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Walkathon.  In 2008, Tweezerman became a sponsor for CEW Cancer and Careers, an interactive online resource that provides inspirational advice from survivors and cancer professionals on everything from telling your boss and scheduling treatments to knowing your legal rights.

In addition to Breast Cancer Awareness and Research, Tweezerman also supports organizations that focus on helping the environment, global relief and community outreach.  Some examples are:

Created by Tweezerman in partnership with the Children of The Art of Elyisum and this year spirit of Elysium recipients Ali Larter and Hayes MacArthur to benefit the organization.

Introducing the limited edition HEAVENLY Mini Slant Tweezer in a Morning Glory print created by Tweezerman in collaboration with The Art of Elyisum, a charitable organization dedicated to enriching the lives of hospitalized children with the help of artists.

One dollar from each tweezer sold will be donated to The Art of Elysium organization.  The happy, playful Morning Glory design embodies the ideals of things deemed heaven sent and was inspired by art created through a collaborative in-hospital workshop with children and the 2014 Spirit of Elysium recipients Ali Larter and Hayes MacArthur.

Tweezerman has been a long standing supporter of the Art of Elyisum organization, sponsoring their star studded black-tie charity gala “HEAVEN” for the last 2 years, this year they will extend their partnership further with this limited edition tweezer.
