Tips & Tricks
1. To replace the light mechanism on the Lighted Slant® Tweezer, first remove the oval disk on the opposite tweezer-arm to provide better viewing and more room for fingers. Then remove both parts of the light mechanism using the side notch on the outer-piece to release the two halves. Observe how the original two piece mechanism fits into its spot while removing from body of tweezer — as noting the positions of both parts will help with next steps.
2. Carefully separate the two pieces of the new light mechanism and place them in the exact position that the former ones were in.
3. The light mechanism should be stable and in place when you feel both parts snap together. The tiny light-bulb should be sitting inside the arm of the tweezer and facing the slanted tips, while the on/off button should be sitting on the outside arm of the tweezer with the switch closer to the Tweezerman logo away from the tips. To keep your tweezers working properly, always make sure to turn the light off post-tweezing. Do not drop tweezers, as this can throw them out of alignment and damage the tip. Clean after each use. Always keep protective cap on tips of tweezers.
