Fashion Week 2010
Tweezerman has always been loved by celebrities, makeup artists and models so it was a perfect fit for Tweezerman to be backstage this year at some of the hottest designer fashion shows to prep the models’ brows and groom nails for natural, beautiful glamour.
Whether the makeup was soft and neutral or dramatic and daring , on the runways this year the look for brows across the board was strong, arched and very defined.
At Elise Overland’s elegantly edgy show, the makeup was understated, but the brow was clean and strong. Celebrity makeup artist Napoleon Perdis used Tweezerman’s precision Slant tweezer to get the distinctive brow look for the show. Nails were kept short with a neutral hue. Kim D’Amato (eco-beauty spa pioneer) from Priti NYC quickly cleaned up hangnails and cuticles with our Squeeze N’ Snip Nipper, and spruced up nails with our Pushy & Nail Cleaner—used to push back cuticles and clean under and around the nails— for that neat, naturally beautiful look.
We had a blast backstage at the Betsey Johnson show. Ramy Gafni, of Ramy Beauty Therapy touched up model and celebrity brows to create the dramatic, whimsically fun and flirty look for the show.
